About Dr.Roopali Nerlikar

Dr Roopali Nerlikar completed her MBBS from the B J Medical College, Pune. She received her training in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She further trained in the subspecialty of GLAUCOMA there. She obtained her FRCS in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and worked in the UK for 2 years. After returning to India, she started private practice as a Glaucoma specialist and general ophthalmologist at Kelkar Nursing Home, Pune and has been attached to Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital, Pune since 2001 as a Glaucoma Specialist. In 2006 she underwent training in Laser Vision Correction procedures at Germany as well as under the renowned Dr Rupal Shah of Baroda. She has been successfully performing Laser Vision Correction (PRK, LASIK) since October 2006. She has been an invited faculty at numerous symposia and has conducted instruction courses at State and National Conferences. Presently she has a well established Glaucoma referral and anterior segment ophthalmology practice.
